David was the centre of my musical life, organising regular one-per-part singing, recorder-playing and renaissance wind band sessions. He was also shared my deep interest in system-level computer programming and we had such interesting chats in the breaks between our music-making. I feel such a great loss with his death and my thoughts go out to the lovely family he leaves behind. I'll never forget this wonderful man.
